A PASTORS’ DAY with BMI
As you are probably aware we are continuing to encourage members from ACM, CLCI and BMI (Alliance Churches) to attend each others’ regional gatherings. I had the privilege of attending a BMI NSW State Meeting in Moss Vale earlier in the year. Numbers of ACMers attended which was really great.
You are invited to attend the Victorian State BMi Gathering which will be held on Saturday 18th September at House of the Rock Church, 15-17 Goode Street, Gisborne VIC 3437.
It will cost $15 per person or $25 for a couple which is for lunch, morning and afternoon teas.
It will start at 9 am and finish at 4 pm.
Contact Ps John Barnes to book a place on 0400 260 101
I will be there sharing in one of the sessions. I would love it if you could join me.
God bless you,
Richard
NSW Meeting
Our next NSW State Pastors & Leaders Gathering will be held on Friday 24th September, 2010 at our great new church premises at Elermore Vale Community Centre, rear 129 Croudace Road, Elermore Vale in Newcastle’s southwest.

I am giving you advanced notice as I realise how busy you all are.
I have asked two of our very own pastors to come and share their insight on how best to achieve the merging and forging of different cultures and racial backgrounds into a single force to grow the Kingdom of God in our towns and cities. They are Ps. Gino Zucchi, a Canadian Italian who heads up what is possibly the most successful church blend of racial mixes in this country. His church (The Crossroads Christian Centre at Casula in Sydney’s Southwest) is a wonderful example of what the Oz church of the 21st Century can and should be like. The other speaker is Costa Rican Ps. Isabel Agudelo of Impact 4 Life Church at Lake Munmorah on the Central Coast. She and husband Ps. Ruben passionately lead an excitingly vibrant church with a wonderfully integrated congregation. I have asked Gino and Isabel to share their views on the issues I have raised here. I hope that you will come and hear what they have to share!
On my own personal front, I am thrilled to report that Kathleen and I are “refloating New Beginnings Christian Church, Wallsend which we wound up six months ago. We have been inundated with requests to resurrect the church. We will be restarting with over forty people having committed already.
I will be sending out another email shortly with the venue for the gathering. In the meantime, I hope that you will mark the 23rd September in your diary and plan to come along!
Blessings!
Rick Burley
NSW State Chairman, ACM
