ACMI
Welcome to ACMI!
About ACMI
ACMI was founded by Pastor Hal Oxley in 1989. ACMI is not officially associated with ACM but it does have close connections with many of the ACM churches and their pastors. ACMI differs from ACM in that it is not a denomination, but a network of pastors from many different denominations and networks. ACMI has members in Africa, Asia and the Pacific Islands. ACMI has been especially successful in Africa where there are thousands of members in over a dozen nations.
Purposes
ACMI provides opportunities for fellowship, friendship, unity and mutual support amongst its members.
ACM provides teaching and leadership resources to help its members more effectively fulfil their ministry responsibilities.
ACMI opens up opportunities for ACM churches and their pastors to take short term ministry trips to ACMI nations to hold leadership conferences and to partner with the national pastors to develop their leaders.
ACMI Executive
ACMI has its own international executive, which meets to discuss the best ways for ACMI to achieve its aims and to operate successfully throughout the world. It also looks at ways ACM pastors and churches in Australia can become connected to ACMI pastors and their activities.
At present the executive consists of Richard Kerridge (Chairman), Lyle Slinger and John Meadth.
